Examples of Freidman Project Works
Our Special Works team delivers an extensive range of mechanical, electrical and integrated refurbishment projects, particularly those of a difficult or specialist nature.
We thrive on these challenges and provide fully integrated packages providing everything from building and electrical services, through heating, air conditioning and ventilation, to decorating and flooring.
The following two projects have recently been completed:
The Beauty Salon refurbishment works took place at a large private residential in September/October 2017 during a 6 week programme.
Following the initial fit out and installation of the air handling unit, plumbing and electrical installations the ceiling and wall panels were reinstated with several ceiling panels to allow access for maintenance.
Polished plaster was applied to the walls prior to the final fit out of fixtures and fittings including glass shelving units, recessed wall shelving, storage cupboards and artwork features.
Charity for People with Learning Disabilities
Our client is one of the largest and longest-established national charities to provide services for people with learning disabilities. Their services range from residential care and day opportunities to supported living/domiciliary care at home – from a few hours a week to 24 hours a day. They provide support that means people with learning disabilities can experience life to the full – from enjoyment, satisfaction and improved health to finding meaningful relationships or paid employment.
Freidman works collaboratively with our client in providing a range of project management activities. During the past three months, Freidman has worked closely with the client in scoping and programming a series of residential unit refurbishment works including bathroom, kitchen and living spaces occupied by their residents in care. The scope of work requires a high level collaboration with the client in understanding their residents’ needs and requirements through to engaging with contractors and mobilising the works programme.
